I bought this as a replacement for the Midget as we needed a bigger car and I still wanted some with a bit of go. It wasn't too bad when I bought it but after a while the dreaded bubbles in the paintwork started appearing in the front wing top corners by the windscreen and also the strut mounts on the inner wings. I then changed jobs and the new job came with a company car so I took it off the road. I welded up the rust holes in the wings and welded on new plates for the struts. I also decided to respray it yellow. I removed the 'S' stripes etc carefully and I managed to re-use the after spraying. When I had finished it a friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse. After this I had company cars until 1992 when I bought the TVR.
