When I bought this it had just undergone a restoration and was in very good condition. Unfortunately I had an accident in it. I slid into a parked Hillman Avenger, whilst trying to avoid an oncoming car that was on my side of the road. It was in the first heavy rain after the long hot summer of 1976 and the roads were very greasy. The MG needed a new wing but everything else was OK but unfortunately the Avenger was written off. I had to sell it after this as I could no longer afford the insurance.
