After seeing pictures of a TVR Vixen S1 in a book when I was 14 my dream of actually owning one eventually came true in January 1992 when I purchased a 1970 Vixen S3. It was previously owned by Richard Hudson-Evans who was a writer for Practical Classics Magazine and the car was featured in article in Practical Classics about fibreglass cars. I use the TVR mostly at weekends and Holidays. I have also entered it in 3 Norwich Union Classic Car Runs which were very enjoyable. It's one of those cars that gives you a big grin every time you drive it.
